Praise be to the Lord! Spread the news! Its time we get the Word to as many people as we can. At the bottom right of the home page, www.intohismarvelouslight.com, you will find a new 'button' (see below) and a link to allow you to download a new interactive PDF of Into His Marvelous Light. The new Interactive PDF looks just like the new version of the Bible Study in KJV (we are working on the NIV). The study allows interested parties to fill in the blanks on the questions / statements, and take the study on your web site. At the end, they can print it out. All you have to do is to fill out a quick form telling us where you will be posting the study and agreeing to not print from the PDF, post a link to IHML.com and the copyright language, and you will be off and running. Also, we are providing three different choices of banner ads touting IHML on your site. The study and the banner ads are free for the taking, as long as you register. We posted it Monday live and have already had our first download today. We look forward to replacing the IHML home-made versions with this new version. Look for the FREE IHML Interactive PDF button and download it for your church site. And if you currently have a version that was created by someone other than IHML Publishing, expect a letter notifying your church of this new link, and requesting that you replace the old version with this new one.

May God bless your soul winning efforts!

The Publisher

LCYC Sponsorship

In early January we once again, for our second time, were the major sponsor for the Lake Conroe Youth Convention in Conroe, Texas. There has to be over 2,000 young people who come for a day and a half to hear preaching of the Word. It is quite impressive to see the intensity and power of their worship. This year, Bro. Rishidi Collins, Bro Matt Tuttle and Bro. Joel Urshan were the guest speakers. All three were powerful and on topic for this day we live in. I was very impressed with the the Saturday service that started at 9:30 a.m. with Bro. Collins. The altar service was spectacular! And then immediately, they went back to their seats to hear Bro. Urshan... and once again filled the altar. There is hope for the Church of tomorrow! IHML is proud to be a sponsor of LCYC once again.
Into His Marvelous Light on church websites... Is it legal?

Since Into His Marvelous Light caught on in the late 80's, we've experienced a wave of churches adding it to their websites. Most have added it without regard for copyright infringement when posting it on line without permission of the publisher, which is illegal use of copyrighted material. We have allowed this to continue for all the right reasons, but have cringed when we see some churches alter the images, the cover, some of the text, and even completely disregard the format of the study. Almost all have posted it without contacting us or without credits.

You may wonder why we have allowed this to run unabated. As you can imagine, it's not been an easy decision and watching the creations some have used has caused me a lot of heartburn. I'm torn between wanting to reach the lost (the original and current pure intent) and protecting what is lawfully ours. Hopefully, it's obvious tha the former purpose has outweighed the latter intent.
The publishers and authors have never taken salary from the sales of the study, rather plowed the money into events, more printing of IHML, the website and promotions, so money isn't the objective here. At the same time that we've wanted to reach the lost, we've wanted to uphold the integrity of the study, both in it's aesthetics and in context with the original format development which was tested and proven successful prior to launch.

So what to do?! We have come to the conclusion that we need to provide churches with the right product to post on their sites. And in return for allowing the posting of the study, all we'll ask is that there be a link to the IHML website for ordering studies, commenting, and reading teaching resources. We'll also require a copyright symbol and the proper legal language is added (in a single line below the study). I have engaged the designers to get the web-enabled version of IHML ready for posting in February. We intend to have it up and running no later than the 15th. You'll be able to get onto www.intohismarvelouslight.com and download it once you tell us a little bit about your church and how you plan to use it. It will be illegal to download it for printing. This is only a website product and will be restricted as such.

After this is ready for placement, we'll be contacting all sites currently posting a version of IHML to remove the current version and replace it with the official version. This will be free. Our goal is as yours... to win souls. May God bless you. I'm open to your input and happy to listen to any thoughts or ideas you may want to offer.

Sincerely,

Galen Walters
This is the right time for Into His Marvelous Light!

As one of the authors and Publisher of Into His Marvelous Light (IHML), I can tell you that since we published the study in 1987, I've never seen a time more ripe for sewing the seed of God and winning the lost than right now. Our country and the world is in a mess, and the stress is mounting on everyone, whether poor, middle class or wealthy. This is the hour for the Church to reach the lost. And, there has never been a better tool to equip your people with than IHML!

May God richly bless your harvest!

Galen Walters
From ex-missionaries to Uganda comes this testimony:

While in Uganda we translated "Into His Marvelous Light" (with your permission) into three of the Ugandan languages: Luganda, LuGonza and Rutooro. We also had it available in KiSwahili, thanks to the translation work done in Tanzania. Of course, there are still close to 40 languages into which the study needs to be translated for use in Uganda.

Since returning to the states we have become friends with a real estate agent who now attends church but has not yet become a committed believer. I offered to give him a personal Bible study to which he has agreed. Having used "Into His Marvelous Light" in Uganda with success, I plan to use that study as a first approach, beginning tonight. We will often be parked in RV Parks, and my vision is to teach Bible studies as often as I find receptive minds.

                          - Arlon and Darline Royer
                             Junction City, OR
The Word is powerful!

What an awesome testimony this is!

Rev. E. W. Whitmire pastors The Pentecostals of Robertson Country in Hearne, TX — a town of less than 5,000 population. In January, he challenged his church to teach home Bible studies, specifically using Into His Marvelous Light. That month they only taught two Bible studies, baptized one and one received the Holy Ghost. In February they taught four, had three to be baptized and four received the Holy Ghost. In March they taught ten Bible studies and had two receive the Holy Ghost. In April they taught 31 Bible studies, baptized 23 and 23 received the Holy Ghost. In May they taught 23 Bible studies, had 10 baptized and 10 received the Holy Ghost. Twenty-one of those who received the Holy Ghost were adults, including 18 men! The revival is continuing as they labor to assimilate all the new converts into the church. Pastor Whitmire notes a definite correlation between the number of Bible studies taught and those baptized and receiving the Holy Ghost. The Pentecostals of Robertson County are true believers the power of the Word as presented through Into His Marvelous Light!

Truly Inspiring...

Have you heard about, or been a part of, a truly inspiring IHML story.
